Does Bryant still offer tin plated coils?
I'm replacing my home system with a Bryant evolution 96% furnace and preferred condenser. I asked about tin plated coils but the hvac guy over the phone said that Bryant only offers aluminum. Anyone know if this is true?
I know I've seen alot of older posts saying to get the tin coils (ATA model number).
Thanks

Aluminum is less likely to leak. I still think they offer the duracoat (tin coating). Not sure. Either one is better than just plain copper coils.
Copper is more likely to be a victim of formicary corrosion.
Why are you against aluminum?
Like everyone else, carrier/bryant/payne has changed all their coil to aluminum. Instead of ATA....you are looking for ALA
I wish I had a $1.00 for every response I deleted.....
"Decidedly Superior in a twisted pathetic way".....
Aluminum is the latest. Thanks for the tip.
