I'm not optimistic. I see the same short term you do, I'm just thinking about the people that will want work that will always be in demand and the ability. I see alot of hack doctors in the future.

I hope you are right on short term. I don't see it if chairman O is reelected though.

See this is where I disagree with you. Its going to happen wether O or R is elected. In order to appeal Obamacare you going ot need full control of the senate, congress, and white house, and even if you get that, the individual mandate is a republican invention, meaning that even with full republican control, some of them aren't going to vote to repeal it. The hearitage foundation thought it up, Gingrich pushed for it, and Romney implemented it, and to be blunt, I don't trust Romney to do anything he says hes going to do based off his record.

There is to much money to be made and to much corruption to ever see it repealed. What I do want to know is how liberals where conned into supporting something that goes against most of their believes.

Fair enough. But would the Doctors change their "mandate" exit/pull back strategy regardless if was Obama or Romney who allowed it to be implemented 100%. I say no.

Well, GA read the entire thread before adding his ...

I heard someone on a conservative talking head radio show (caller, not the host) suggest Obambam really is tired/bored with POTUS and wants to retire to Hawaii and raise his kids. HOWEVER: he also knows he cannot maintain his command of influence (thus living beyond the laws we are accountable to) if he were to just walk. So what to do? Act like he was running for re-election (as Jimmy Carter did), blow it here and there (just enough to loose), then like a gentleman (which he is NOT) bow out and retire with SS protection for life, a salary for life, and the really lucrative public speaking circuit for part-time $$$.

Guy wins and gets to keep his 'above the law' lifestyle.

Now tell me who among us would not do that if we had the chance???

    Just watching Fox Business News...

Seems Mitt Romney took a $1/year salary when he was govnr of Mass... and refused ANY govt pension. Now show me ANY Dem or Lib who served and did that... ANY of them?

BTW: The reason I prefer FOX business news is: I am a business person, I am an investor, and I prefer common sense and fiscal responsibility from leaders. And BTW: FOX news is the #1 news in the country... so I AM in the majority...

GA, that would be more of a big deal if he was not a multimillionaire. His money was making him money at that point.

Yes, I am aware of that. I personally own enough investments to pay part of my retirement... hopefully I will have enough income arranged so I will not need SSI... because as we both know... it will not be worth a hill of beans when we retire. (Note it is all in trusts, beyond the reach of any attorney). According to the liberal media... this makes me a bad person... still not sure why...

I guess is is wrong to take care of myself... rather I should be dependent on the govt for retirement... and we ALL know how smart that would be...

One of the wonderful things about America is: ANYONE can do this if they choose to do so. There is NOTHING wrong with making enough $$$ to live off the dividends and interest.

Sure all that could be true but I feel that Obama is indeed a true believer in the socialist Marxist cause and would die in office as a dictator like Chavez of Venezuela if he could. He truly wants to change this country irrevocably into a socialist state. That is his one burning goal IMHO. Thank you, thank you very much

Glenn, I think it goes beyond Obama...in all honesty, I don't think Obama has the brains to complete such a task. IMO, he was groomed and is being influenced by a shadow government.
