    Honeywell HZ432 and Lennox

We are new to installing wireless thermostats and zone systems. Has anyone else had an issue with a hz432 zone board getting the heat strips to come on in a Lennox split heat pump? Wireless thermostats installed on this system and we can't figure out why the backup heat won't come on. If we bypass the board they come on fine. Can't find anything in the honeywell installation guide.

    Thanks

How have you configured the zoning panel to 'stage-up'? Is it set to do it via thermostat demand, timer, % of thermostats calling? Are the strips configured in the panel as e-heat or as additional stages of heat.

You can force them on as e-heat by pushing the 'Emergency Heat' button on the panel if they are configured as such.
