Pickup Truck
Does anyone here use a pickup truck with a cap for service work and if so how do you have it set up? Pics? I am just starting up on my own and with all the other expences and such I was thinking of just using my pickup for now rather than buying a van. Just want to know how this works out.
Thanks

I use my F150 6.5ft bed with ARE cap. It's not a work cap. I use several large Rubbermaid containers and stackables. Its not easy. I don't keep a lot of stock.
For installs a trailer is imperative.

-I have never used a pick up truck with a cap for work like that, however I have thought about if i had to.. I wouldn't keep much in there, I would need to bring my tools and important stuff in to the house every night or something, those cabs are so easy to break into. Unless you plan and can store it in a garage that opens and closes with a lock.
-Also check with your state laws and insurance policy about using your personal vehicle for a business vehicle. if you get into a accident your fault or not the coverage may not be enough to cover the damages and the insurance company can and will drop you if they find out, and not pay any claims, If the vehicle is use for a business with personal coverage.®

What's the willy nelson song....."Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway" ?
It's not the Brand with the fewest repairs-It's all in the install!!! Attention to detail and using the best materials!
