    Got the flue

Saw this at a customers next door.

I repair air conditioners to keep people cool when it's 110+ degrees outside.
I repair heaters so people don't freeze to death.
I shut down furnaces that are unsafe to operate.
Make fun of my profession, but dang it, I save lives.

We're awl pawthetic and kweepy and can't get giwrls. That's why we fight wobots.

That's not a support. That's a plumbing vent pipe. Sorry for the crappy pics.

WTF? Sorry to be dense, what's up with that? Somebody please explain that to me?
Which makes more sense to you?
CONSERVATION - turning your thermostat back and being uncomfortable. Maybe saving 5-10%
ENERGY EFFICIENCY - leaving your thermostat where everyone is comfortable. Saving 30-70%

DO THE NUMBERS! Step on a HOMESCALE.
What is comfort? Well, it AIN'T just TEMPERATURE!

Energy Obese? An audit is the next step - go to BPI.org, or RESNET, and find an auditor near you.

Cheap install.. Instead of removing the old flue piping they just ran the 90 plus vent up through it.
