New AK 900 arrived - what sealant to use on fittings
OK, need to attach manifold to gauges, what do you digicool owners use on the threaded fitting ?

Nothing, rubberseals in hose do thier job. If anything use red nylog just dont get in hoses. Some here may have better answers. Could call manufacture and see what tech support recommends.

I would use the Masters tape that is rated for freon. The same stuff you put on threads in a reefer system if its giving you problems.
Don't quote me on this but thats what i would use.

Tru blue thread sealant or loctite. Both work with freon ect. Its what a few have used with good results.

I just used Teflon tape, but I haven't hooked them up to anything yet.

My high side leaked a little under nitro pressure. I used a little nylog and it stopped it. I may not have tightened it enough but now I feel good about it.

A drop of nylog should be more than adequate

i used nylog the first time which had no leaks under nitro
used yellow gas teflon tape 2nd time which didnt leak either
