Joseph Smith........interesting

I never really read anything about this man and his life. What do you think?

As the mob was approaching, the jailer became nervous, and informed Smith of the group. In a letter dated July 10, 1844, one of the jailers wrote that Smith, expecting the Nauvoo Legion, said "Don't trouble yourself ... they've come to rescue me."

I thought that was funny.... Joseph Smith...smug and arrogant thinking his personal army was coming to save him.......and in reality it was the army of the lord coming to hand him his a**.

Of course it was too late as the church was already established. Its too bad someone didnt kill him earlier in life.

He was a lazy con man always looking for an easy way to make a buck without working for it......and he found a way thru religion.

Maybe his followers considered him like Jesus and his death was what they considered similar?
