    Boiler burn up

Got a call from the shop about a boiler we serviced that we were going to put a buffer tank on burnt up. The tech and the boss didn't get the burner Locked in place.

We already quoted them a system and what not, it would be a matter of putting burner back to fix it, but they just want it changed. I did some work for free today for them to help out. They will buy the new boiler, they were getting quotes before this happened.

Would you have clicked if it said boiler soot up lol.

Went to replace a 600 dollar suck-my-lochinvar board today.

To find out the ribbon connector that connects the main board to the low voltage board is melted to the $600 dollar board.

So now their out the $600 board, plus the low voltage board, with a 1 week wait. Express'd the low voltage board, for $39.

No warranty coverage, guy cut a water line above the boiler, soaked it.

"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."

    "Just get it done son."
