My laptop I use with this device has been working fine until lately. I need to go into the settings to change my network number but i cannot get the router config page to open. I have windows 7 does anybody have any ideas?

As long as your computers IP is in the same range as the routers with the last octet being different and a good cable it shouldn't be an issue. Operating system shouldn't matter since it UI is web based.

Worse case reset it to default, set laptop IP in default range, connect, reconfigure and disconnect.

I had the same problem and in the end it was an IP address conflict.
Make sure you set your computers IP address in the right range. for example my Bacnet router is 192.168.92.68 set your computer to 192.168.92.69
