    low temp drop

was introduced to my new problem today. brand new unit. 2 cicuits. #1 15 degree SH and 12degree SC. #2 24degree SH and 21 degree SC. Only 10 degrees across coil. I would think #1 is OK but #2 having both high SH and SC has got me puzzled. Unit is for a gas station with a little food area. There is a hood exhaust and make up which appear to be ok. Unit never gets to set pt

Sounds like ckt 2 has a restriction, look for a temp drop on the liquid line. Check the filter drier and condenser. Does it have a TXV or fixed orifices?

If this is a package unit, I would weigh the charge.
