Is anybody here doing Chiller or Boiler service for Hussmann, Lennox, or Source?
Is anybody doing these services for any of these companies? Recent developments have these three companies expanding into Engineered HVAC Systems.

I believe Lennox is going to get out of the service business. Service Experts is up for sale, they are keeping NAS for now but is a matter of time.
Lennox bread and butter comes from units sales and many HVAC contractors are upset about Lennox doing direct customers sales, installs and service.

I read up on the Service Experts intent to sell. I was talking LNAS specifically. I know both Hussmann and Source are servicing Engineered HVAC Systems in this part of the country. I guess someone within each of those companies about just staying within the supermarket application. 10% GP is too low, close to nothing.

Hussmann (IR) has nobody in NYS other than Trane, Source is non-existent, NAS has a bunch of quacks that dont know how to fix a leaking toilet.
Uphere a good chiller guy writes his own ticket, nobody that knows chillers remotely is going to take a job with NAS for $25 an hour.

Hussmann is no longer a sister company to Trane. Check out I-R's website, no mention of Hussmann. Check out Hussmann's website, no mention of I-R.
I-R only holds a minority stake in Hussmann now. The main Chiller guy around here for them is in Phoenix. Don't know his story though. Hussmann doesn't do Com. Ref. in NYC? Who's out there then? Hill-Phoenix?
Source has had the CenturyLink account for a few years. Lots of central offices for them on this side of the country.
I don't think anyone has anything good to say about LNAS.

You didn't comment about Hussmann or Hill-Phoenix. Both those companies are Union shops in Chicago. Are both non-existent in NYC, even being OEMs? Is there any 638B shops that do Com. Ref. in NYC?

You are right, Hussmann was acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice an equity investment firm, now they are sister company to Kinkos and Lexmark, I would call that a huge step down, typically equity investment firms buy failing business, put makeup on them and flip them for a profit. Hussmann was making some crappy equipment like the ARL/ARV series, they were being suit by many customers.
