Datacor extended warranties?

Hey everyone;

I just got off the phone with a contractor (we're an extended warranty company, I'm salesperson) who mentioned they had sold a bunch of Datacor extended warranties in the past, and Datacor went belly-up and now they are left holding the bag for repairs. Do any of you know first-hand if there is any underwriting insurance company for Datacor warranties or such that contractors can file claims with?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It's worth a try, but I highly doubt anyone can squeeze any money from the underwriters.
