and as i said its not even a year old...anyway i requested a time

Did you return the failed part and fill out the warranty card? It takes a couple weeks to get paid after you do that. Maybe a month! I forgot!!!

They usually pretty good on warranty issues. Don't give enough time, IMO, but who does? I also hate reusing R404A on systems that small but that's what the guy paying the bill says to do so that's what we do. Just walk into your local Manitowok supply house and ask. Quickest safest path for you. Don't call!! Go in and talk to them.

I don't know which area your in but the warranty labor rate varies by location. The rate in say New York City is going to be higher than Arkansas. This is because service compaines in NYC charge $140 an hour and in lower states it might be $60 and hour. They both do Excellant work.
To find out the rate for your area contact your local Manitowoc Distributor where you buy parts and submit warranty claims. Somebody there will know.
I dont know if you use United Refrigeration or WPD in Califronia for your claims as i dont know just where you are.The postings on this site are my own and don't necessarily represent The Manitowoc Company's positions, strategies, or opinions.
