Rehab work in the ghetto

That was inside a wall, water just pouring out onto the hardwood floor and into the crawl I had to go into.

Nothing like a door on the second story leading out onto the front porch roof. The sofa outside is nice too.

An outlet cut into the side of a box. The wire running to it is a very light gauge lamp wire.

Its flexible duct, the air will push through!

There's yer air flow issue.

It's insulated, it'll be fine.

LOL

That's in the main hallway. You open the front door and there's the unit. The drain ends right on the other side of that wall and drains two stories down all over the siding.

Sewage right into the crawl. When we tell the guy who doesn't speak English very well he says, "It's ok, it's ok". My boss said, "NO, NO ITS NOT OK!" That was an interesting install.

I've got a bunch like this but these are the funniest I think.

Unbelievable. I would not touch that stuff. What you really have to look out for is any old wire not properly insulated might electriucute the coop out of you. Anyways the owner should be brought up on charges for letting anyone even live there. I understand the need for charity but that is really bad and dangerous.

the duct under the porch reminds me of a trailer in western ND where oil workers were liveing in the crawl and disconected supply runs to have heat in their new digs and thats how they were caught

These are mostly taken in Richmond, VA. It's also funny you mention getting electrocuted because the electricians run wires and leave them hot with no wirenuts. Just laying in the middle of the crawl lol

I think rehab means our tax dollars are paying for it.

I don't what's worse, that outlet, or the idea that someone thought it was okay enough to paint over the tape.
Nemo me impune lacessit.
How much blood do I have to bathe in to get clean?
Don't look down on anyone unless you're helping them up.
