If you're saying 100, then 200 would be fair, buying it off my boss. The knowledge and tools he has lent me is well worth over a hundred dollars.

I'm pretty confident I paid around $160-$175 for a BRAND NEW Refco 5 cfm pump on EBAY, with oil. I would not give $200 unless you feel you owe him something. Just saying.

i wonder if that refco has a gas ballast? or an isolation valve? a new 3 cfm yj is a 5 hundred dollar pump. not all pumps are created equal. that pump should be worth every bit of 2 hundy.

The Refco is internally ballasted. No isolation valve, though I use my schrader remover for isolation.
List price is $395.00 for the Eco-5 Refco pump. They are all over the internet for less than $200.
    2 stage, 1/2 hp, 25 microns.

I'm not bashing Yellow Jacket/Ritchie products. I own the LED Deluxe micron gauge. It lists for close to $700. I'm just wary of a used pump, especially if it is close to what a comparable, new pump would cost. I'm not suggesting a Harbor Freight single stage pump, but a quality Swiss made unit.

I agree, but I don't doubt the quality of this pump. The guy selling it takes very good care of his stuff...to the point of buffing and waxing.

We settled on 200, I know there are other brands New for roughly the same price, but he's moving out of state soon AMD gave me a really good deal on a John Deere mower.
