what is this
it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair

That is an ice machine! I haven't seen one like that since the late 70's, can't remember the brand. The ice is formed on the square extrusions in the water, like a popsicle stick. The paddles keep the water agitated to keep the ice clear. Is that as old as I think?
