I don't about Winterpeg, but in these parts we're expected to have gas blocks on each side of the fittings. Then block spacing determined by pipe size.
I've used a paint roller for mile long pipe runs. Works nice and you get to stand up.

wow, the inspectors around here don't even look at the gas pipe, it's kind of a joke.

yes we must support both sides of every fitting.... the picture was taken as it was being painted.... it would never pass like that need way more supports...and I put them in...
