The Infinity touchscreen is a very nice controller and great upgrade based on your needs. It is not as plug and play as it seems. You need a thorough understanding of the equipment operation to be certain it is setup properly.
The web access portion and app are the easy part.Climate Control Solutions for your Home or Office

Ok folks as an update:
I am using a NEST 2nd generation controller to control my Carrier Infinity 58MVC (furnace) AND 25HNA6 (heat pump). Now I have remote access via my IPhone!! So far I am impressed and don't regret my choice to switch. Now to sell my communicating stat on Ebay and try to make back some $$. Oh by the way it is about $ for the new Infinity controller that does wifi. Also, I have heard it is not a good solution too. My solution was less than $ installed.Last edited by beenthere; 01-04-2013 at 06:03 PM. Reason: Prices

You just castrated your HVAC system by disabling the communication features. Such a shame.
Now, instead of having the Cadillac...you have a Pinto.
Why? Just for thermostat access via IPhone? Well, the infinity touch controller will do all that and still have all the communicating features.
