    what is the diff between control points and proxy points??

    any object that extends BControlPoint will have a ProxyExt
    IF the control point is an IO point that exists under a driver's points folder then the ProxyExt will be of a type that is appropriate to that driver.

    Proxy is part of a control point. It's the mechanism making the read/write things over the network.
