Well if you are guy then why the super feminist avatar and the campaign for "Brest Cancer" awareness? Can't be much of a "guy" then. And if you are a gal then why the big interest in a hot chick unless you are shall we say "funny"? Thank you, thank you very much
Why is that a feminist avatar? I work with a Relay for Life team for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer is our main focus. I even have a tee shirt that says I Love (heart symbol) boobs on the front and "Check em, or I will" on the back. For the ladies is a tee shirt that has a squirrel on the front with the words; "I love nuts" and "Check em, or I will" on the back.
Just because cancers can be gender specific doesn't mean that cancer icons are.
Just in case there are those who really don't know what a candy striper is;
A candy striper was traditionally a young, female hospital volunteer; a concept that originated in the 1940s. The unique job title represented the candy cane look of the red and white-striped pinafores worn by the volunteers. Traditionally, the girls sewed their own pinafores. East Orange General Hospital in New Jersey claims to have started the first candy striper program in 1944.
I've worked with adult Boy Scout leaders who are Muslim.
