    EWC Damper motor wiring

    On my EWC damper motor I have three terminals: COM, PO, PC. (Common, Power Open, Power Close) What would happen if PO and PC had power on them at the same time? Would it burn up my motor?

    I'm asking because I want the damper to open in the cool mode only and this is a heat pump. So I ran a wire from the "O" terminal on the stat to the "PO" terminal on the damper motor... I would like to run another wire from "B" to "PC" but I'm all out of conductors ...

    Just make it its own zone with a cool only stat to the board and that damper going to the corresponding zone.
