Anyone have a uei combustion analyzer?

Today I was getting some real weird readings on mine. I don't have lots of experience with it but It seems like sometimes I can't trust it. Today I was checking an oil boiler and I was reading 1200 ppm co then would fall to 300 then raise up, then the thing wouldn't shut off, I had to pull batteries to shut it down. Anyone else have issues?

Which model? They have 2 different types of sensors and that could be relevant to this. Another thing to note is that once the CO is at a certain level, the sensor gets fubar.
