Glad someone poinyed out that you do not need a contractor with 100k in equipment, you can buy 30# kits that do 300squ ft for 300$.
Energy Rater, I find it kinda contradicting that you say foaming a duct is basically worthless, this says to me foaming a house is just the same. Now granted ifi were to foam a duct system I would seal with mastic and tape as I would if just using ductwrap.
