    I found this on a recent pm. Both compressors had ban changed and they braved the piping before they took it off.

    Oops. That's something I would do. I usually have to flare things a few times because I forget to put the nut on.....

    I believe they were twined danfoos scrolls. It was a carrier RTU.

    Oh just a lucky guess lol, I have had similar experiences lets say. Next time it happens think of this, when I did carpentry a guy I worked with "burned a foot" on a $2000 post in for a pool room and forgot to add the foot and cut it short. My boss was pissed lol, he said "who the fuk burns a foot on a post".

    They look like copeland's Tandom scroll set up. You sure they are danfoos? Have not played with danfoos much to be honest.

    Carrier uses Danfoss as replacements on almost all scrolls now, and they are all about 1" shorter than the originals.

    They left them there for easy pullout on next burnout. Quick changeout.

    Cannot make out brand, but it looks like a tandem scroll. That is an oil equilization line. They have two suction tubes too. At least a Copeland Tandem does.
