Dishwasher

Had a fagor dishwasher today; i guess many techs have been out there redoing the drain assebly, pumps, soap operation and all kinds of stuff. But this dishwasher kept over spilling/overflowing all over the floor with soap. My question is, don't they make a high temp soap for commerical dishwashers that go over in the 3-400 degree range? This washer starts at 90 F and goes to 450. They wash some delicats in there most of the time, but when they crank the temp up the soap goes all over. So my guess is, they're using a soap thats not ment for high temp operations?

Uhhhhhhh, water turns to steam at 212. Bad thermometer?

Is that some kind of special washer? Wash temp should be 160-165 range, and final rinse should be 180-185 range!

Some of your numbers are a miss-print?
No way the temp would get to 450 degrees. The boiler for the rinse water is pressure tested only to 250 degrees...
To answer your question.
Water comes into the dishwasher by way of a solenoid vale, with 2 safeties to stop overflowing water. A pressure switch, and ultimately an overflow tube.
If you get soap coming out, one of 2 things are happening.
The customer is not using the right detergent, hi temp, low sudsing, or, they have the dishwasher hooked up to a concentrated soap canister, and did not dilute it per the detergent manufacturers instructions. This is all spelled out in the operational and service manual.

Hey ARPA we have lots of Stero DM. Is Fargo there direct competion, I have never heard of them are they out here on the west coast. I am tired of paying the outrages amount of money Stero charges for their parts.

Bald,you too. I can't believe what they charge for some of there stuff. We had a customer rip out a stero unit and put in a hobart unit ( $100k or so) don't know if it's really going to save them any money down the road, time will tell on this one. Still fun to work on these things though, process steam units, always something going down after the first couple of years of use. Considering that they wash dishes for about 2000-4000 students a shift its no wonder though.
