I have gotten an estimate for a heat pump installation. I recently found out that the contractor does about 80% of his business installing high velocity air conditioning systems. I already have ductwork for a standard system. Can I count on this contractor to do as good a job installing my system as someone who mostly installs standard systems?

I dont know...did he show you a manual J load calc.? or did he do a manual D calc.? If not, I would say your standing on shaky ground.

If it is the company that I think it is ,they have mastered the High V stuff,I would not recoomend them for a Ducted system.
It's NOT the BRAND,it's the company that installs it!!!!!
