no drain anywhere!
I got 4 Mitsubishi a/c units all working fine for 6 years.
My house has pre-drilled points for a/c units, and pre made drainage pipes leading to the outside.
While the 3 ac's drain through the pipes normally, one of the a/c's doesn't seem to drain anywhere (not through the pipes, not at the compressor outside and it doesn't of course have a seperate drain pipe , none of them do, they use the pre-built ones).
There is no moisture on the walls so WHERE does the condensation drain on the 4th ac?
If you don't notice, I'm doing my job.
I'll do you one better, I'm attaching the service manual.
the model I have is this: MSZ-A12RV
ok, I'll take some pictures and repost soon.
here are some pics I don't know if they help at all..
you can see the compressor and the ac inside the room, also one of the pictures just shows the place on the wall (from another room with no ac in it yet) where the a/c connects
Actually, pictures would serve better.
The manual shows us where the drains SHOULD be.
Only a picture will show us where they ARE.
notice that the compressor is from a different a/c (as the particular one is on the roof and a bit difficult to get up there, need a ladder) but the installations all look the same, notice how there is no drainage pipe next to the compressor too.
Does this mean you will be installing the missing head yourself?

Maybe they took the drain down the inside of the wall into the plumbing system or under the house. Or they just didn't run one at all.

I've seen them run through the wall. How long has the unit been installed? And has it ran in cooling? If it has you would see the water marks on your wall.

no watermarks or other leakage sign anywhere.
and yes the empty space is for a future unit kamersoutdoor, that picture is from another room.
well thanks everyone for the help, It's still a mystery to me where the drain goes but since in 6 years there is no sign of water damage I think everything is prob ok.
