Well ... one good thing about criminals and guns is they kill a lot of other criminals.... thinning the herd out so to speak.....and thats not a bad thing. As far as innocent bystanders...... They should have been at home with their families or in church instead of out on the street hanging out where the thugs do.
Let go of my cracker jacks, If you dont Im going to have to beat you....... now then hand my captain crunch back over to me this instant.....or else !!!

oh. you mean those innocent people in a movie theater in Colorado? The Law abiding ones that left there firearms home because the sign on the door to the theater said "No Firearms allowed".....those, innocent law abiding people.
Ya, they should have stayed home and cowarded in the bedrooms. Might as well let the criminals run the country.....nevermind, they all ready are

You Americans keep going on about your 2nd amendment and how it protects you against tyranny or what have you.
Isn't this law the very thing you've got the 2nd amendment for?
Start rioting already!
I mean, at what point do you say the line has been crossed?

the line gets crossed everyday. Americans use there firearms an *estimated 2.5 MILLION times each year for self defense and the protection of loved ones.
* it's an estimate because many times a Law Abiding Citizen simply draws there weapon as a deterrent. No shots are fired and they criminal goes in another direction. Therefore there is no police report. This estimate could be much higher, no one really knows?.”No law ever prevented a crime.”

You Canadians and your innate envy towards America and Americans cant keep out of discussions that dont concern you.
What would motivate a Non-US citizen to chime in with some suggestive socialistic nanny state nonsense ?
You people have little concept for the obvious. It comes from decades of cradle to the grave governmental coddling .
You've devolved intellectually and the very concept of self determination gives you a tummy ache.
A recent John Hopkans Study has shown the brain size of your average Canadian is 25% smaller than the average American. Go figure.
If strict governmental control is what you like then more power to you but dont pretend to understand the fundamental idealogy that guarantees our rights and our liberties.

That has got to be BS..... can anyone say xenophobe? I guess canadians should keep out of discussions that don't concern them but America should have a military presence in every country on the globe... Why don't you just save yourself alot of key strokes and say 'if you aren't like me you can go hang from a damn tree!'?

Oh you dumb Americans..... I didn't make my previous post to complain about how you run around with loaded guns afraid of your own shadows.
I'll have you know, for the record and future reference. I'm not a liberal, a hippie or a communist. I'm a libertarian.
The only difference between me and the raving lunatic conservatives is that I'm not afraid of liberals, and I don't feel the need to use religion and baby Jesus to justify what I say or what I do....
So watch your G-D mouth about things you know nothing about.
The point I was trying to make concerning your second amendment is at what point do you feel the government is tyrannical enough for you to excercise this right? I mean what's the plan here? 100,000,000 of you march on Washington in lock-step and do what? Shoot the cops? Burn down the white house?
Obviously the government doesn't fear you people taking action, so what are you gonna do other than complain about it on an HVAC forum?
Enlighten me and my 25% smaller brain with your morbidly obese mouth

On the contrary my socialist neighbor, the government does fear the people. This is the reason why they would like to disarm the citizens.
