I kind of picked up the same message mcjo tech did. That's why I asked the question about whether it had anything to do with who should win the election but so far have gotten no response. Ironically the Republicans are the party favored by most Churches & yet the Democrats are the ones who are known for giving to the poor & tolerance towards other beliefs & life styles. I don't consider myself a Democrat by any stretch of the imagination but if I had to choose between the two parties I definitely would not choose Republican.

Check this thread out. The Democrats snubbed local (mostly Black) churches who wanted to welcome the delegates. Thank you very much
"They put together gift baskets featuring Carolina Pralines and a letter welcoming them to the city and offering assistance in transportation, childcare or spiritual matters.
According to writer, Todd Starnes, The DNC banned the churches from distributing the gift baskets to delegates because, DNC said, the congregations hold values that are contrary to the party platform. Read that carefully.
David Benham, one of the organizers of the outreach said, “We were just trying to display Southern hospitality.”
DNC officials, however, conveyed to city leaders that the Christians would not be allowed to present their gift baskets.....But it gets worse. When a gathering of 200 Muslims showed up to pray for the convention, the Dems welcomed them with open arms and the liberal media gave extensive national coverage.

My countrys' doing just fine. No prayer needed. Just the fact that this post is here is negative and depressive. Also who needs to mix politics and religion anyways. IE "election coming". Most of your churches use fear and intimidation to get your much needed cash for the million dollar mortgage. I could go on and on but I won't.

Don't worry...I'm not praying for this nation or its people. I've turned them over to their appetites to do whatsoever their heart wishes. I've never doubted that our current president will get a second term---not because his folks should win, but that my brethren have surrendered their right to expect better from God.

You're absolutely right. We want to exclude the acceptance of the gross sin of homosexuality that the democrat party accepts. We want to exclude the murderous policy of child sacrifice that the democratic party encourages. We want to exclude porn shops that the democratic party says have a right to be on every block of every city corner. We want to exclude your ACLU loving lawsuit friends who want to kick God out of every aspect of public life in America. I personally want to exclude the 2 black coaches (John Chaney & John Thompson) who sued the NCAA when they tried to raise the minimum SAT entrance score for college athletes from 820 to 900. And moreover democrats are just nasty people to hang around on internet forums. I've been on the college football forums, and liberals have no morals. They curse you out and explode in a fit of rage because they have little self control. Liberals for the most part do not serve the God of the Bible that us Christians believe in.
Democrats in = God out. I want you excluded.

Your lack of faith is as much reflected in your politics as my faith is in mine...even the US Supreme Court has ruled and recognizes both Secular Humanism and Atheism as...drum roll please...protected religions.
As for the cash part, you now can say you know a minister of the Gospel who refuses to collect tythes and offerings of any kind, so that I can freely preach the Gospel, something the Church has to give up in order to recieve its 501c3 status...But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.---Psalm 50:16-17
