how much does it cost to replace a york coil
My york furnice coil is leaking freon. It is 3 ton unit, installed in 2005. I was quoted $****** to replace it, including parts and labor. Is it a reasonable price?
What is the York warranty on its coils?
Thanks,
Mumian
Sorry, site rules do not allow pricing.

Cost to replace the coil can vary widely depending on how accessible it is. Nobody can accurately quote the job w/o seeing it.

Should have a 10 year parts warranty. Is the coil itself blue in color?

We changed one for a customer (we aren't a York dealer) and was surprised when we got labor money from York. We passed it on to the customer.

The u bends on the coil would be copper but the fins that are aluminum are coated with a blue film that is what I'm referring to
