I buy them at the flea market. Find them all day long, say Made In USA on them. I really like the Wright brand wrench I've got, as well as the Klein. I spent ten bucks on the pair.
bahco , they have the patent on the first adjustable spanner, a quality product just feels proffesional to hold
Go with the brand that's on sale. Eventually u will lend to a friend and they will mis -place. But if u dont lend and have a very secure shanty/truck. Go with the best Guarantee/replacement. I'm sure i don't have to tell u go american.
This is a great wrench because it opens real wide and is thin.
I believe if you google channnel lock it comes in different sizes.
My fav wrench

Irega is the best I have ever used. Very tight tolerances so the jaws aren't sloppy. Adjustable wrenches is all they make.

Craftsman, best price and best guarantee. Klein ones are nice but I've found a wrench is a wrench as long as its well made, craftsman definitely is the best.
kobalt SUCKS!!!! don't waste your money.....i got a new set.....they are crap.
As said above do not buy kobolt or husky for that matter. Klein is good but a little pricey. Craftsman are good and guaranteed. I have both craftsman and cresent. All good.
You need to put the phone down and get back to work!
I have crescent.... the ones that open wide.
Ive got all kinds though...kleins, malco, older crescents...... Nowadays just buy a brand name.......they all sorta suck in fit and finish....but the get the job done.
Just try and stay away from the no name stuff they sell at the counters of hardware stores or auto parts stores.
I keep 2 6in, 2 8in, 2 10in, a 12 inch and a 15 inch on the truck but only ever use a 6 or an 8.
The 6 and 8s I keep 1 each in 2 seperate tool bags....... 1 is a small gi bag that I keep a few things in and then I have a medium size with my run of the mill electrical tools in.
The 10s and up stay on the truck.

I love my Klein adjustables. I will defend them with my life.
If only they made an 36"...
Don't pick the fly crap out of the pepper.
Knipex pliers wrench also comes in handy... It's kinda a adjustable.

I've always liked the Klein and they just feel good in your hand
Go with cresent, been a staple in the plumbers bag for years. Its affordable and lasts thru the abuse for years. I've bought some of the fancier expensive ones and lost them at some point. As for klien They're good for electrical tools only. I bought the $26 snips twice and they loose their cutting ability quickly. Be leery if you ever pick up the klien meters, not sensitive enough - almost got blasted by 460.
I have a 12" Rigid adjustable, got it 4 years ago at Wolseley.
The adjuster never binds up, The jaw is still tight, and it's made of high-nickel steel. Made very well with tight clearances. It's been in the rain for days and not a spot of rust. It was $60 CDN
Highly recommend it! You can't beat rigid for wrenches.
