If someone's boiler is old and a POS.........I lay it on' em! Even when I am just there to do the annual tune-up, I swear I've sounded like a car salseman for the past month telling people how their equipment is old and needs replaced.


Of course, I always get the "Well, I just want one more year out of it", or the It's working fine, and doing a good job, so why replace it?"


But what better time, with the way oil prices are, to push the hell out of the system 2000 boiler? I have probably handed out 30 brochures in the last 2 weeks LOL

Every little thing wrong I have written on the paper work and showed the customer and really ragged on their old boiler.

Definatly a good time to try to sell.......tell them you can save them a load of oil and if they are convinced they will love you forever.
