I already mentioned the indoor coil model number in one of my previous posts. Here it is again:

That is an appropriate coil for the outdoor unit you have, so the equipment selection isn't the problem.

Everything is compatible, it could just be the programing in the Tstat is not set up correctly allowing the furnace and HP to run simultaneously.

The installers did test the emergency heat and the furnace itself did run in heat mode at that time. The heat pump lock out temperature is set at 40*F so the furnace will only run if it's below that temp outside. So I believe that part is set up properly.

The furnace did not run at the same time as the heat pump. Only the blower was operating at the time besides the outdoor unit.

Anything is possible, but a high or low pressure event usually doesn't reset in a few seconds as you described.

Thanks. When the unit turned off, it was only off for about 10 to 15 seconds before it turned back on. Mostly 10 seconds.

It is really bad for the compressor to attempt to start so quickly after shutting off.
