MY YS Chiller oil issues

While trying to get back the oil in the rez, I noticed a silver metal object floating in the lower of the two sight glasses. I know this is a dumb question, but do these oil seperator screens come apart like regular oil seperators? And are the parts servicable?

Recovering r22 now, oil tomorrow and I'll pull the switch. I still need to get the old pieces out of the unit some how. 1 pcs was about 2" and looked like a fiberglass mesh.

Float switches aren't mesh

Yeah I kinda figured that. Plus it looked bigger the the hole for the oil switch. Any way we'll see soon and I'll let ya know.

Update on what was found. I took the oil separator apart and found a couple of pieces of duct tape floating in system. lol go figure. But have bigger issues, found evap shell leaking water, so it was a good find... well back to work. Thank you for all your help guy's.
