We have a 1950 full brick building with a basement. Our business generates some HEAT via our process. During summer, we vent heat through several added 'wall vents'.
For the heating season, the boss wants to dump the 'business heat' into the duct system to help keep heating costs low (IF POSSIBLE).
Is it possible to 'split the duct' during winter by installing something like a 'Blast Gate' to isolate
the end of a truck line, then add the business heat via 3- 200 CFM 'duct fans'?????????? These are SHORT runs of less than 15 feet.
ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated as 'the boss' is tighter than *&$@#(*!@.
