    York 80% furnace inducer motor

York 80% furnace inducer motor starts right when gas fires? Shouldnt it run 10 seconds or so before gas fires?

It should be running long before the burners ignite. Get it checked before using it again.

Thats what im thinking, had a tech tell me this unit doesnt come on before burners. Its older, maybe the diamond 80. I just had to replace the inducer motor with the other tech and questioned why it didnt run before igniting.

That's not right. It should have to prove the inducer is running before igniting

Its unsafe the way its operating. You need a good tech that knows what he is doing.
