While I realize that posting links to support commentaries made on this forum are opposed by the more leftist posters who don't like confusing what they want to believe with facts, I still think it is best if all or our commentaries are at least a little more than bile from our own imaginations spewed out onto these internet pages.
For this reason, I bring you an Americans view of this subject. Since the leftist Canadians don't accept Canadian veiwpoints that don't agree with their government's claims, I don't expect them to believe an American's viewpoint either. But for those of you who actually like to compare data and think for yourselves, here goes;http://www.washingtonpolicy.org/publ...educe-violenceReal-world experience shows that adding more gun control does not reduce violent crime. Washington, D.C. has some of the nation’s most restrictive gun control laws, and one of the worst violent crime rates in the country. Britain, Australia and Canada have all imposed sweeping gun laws in recent years, and violent crime rates have increased dramatically in each country.
Now, I do realize that most of my links are to more conservative leaning sources. I do admit that I cannot find much support for owning weapons at baneverything.org or socialistsagainsteverything.commieGovernment is a disease......masquerading as its own cure…Ecclesiastes 10:2 NIV

One thing we've all learned to expect from you is argumental fallacies. In this case a Non sequitur. Your so called rebuttal had nothing to do with my premise. Try a little harder.
Do you really think the Mexican cartels are run by liberials? Maybe we should send them some peace beads and some Ez Widers.Tracers work both ways.

Service calls submitted after 3PM will be posted the next business day.

Not to mention libs tend to be high minded (they call it intellectualism); With this attitude they ignore the rule of law, and as a result criminals get off without being punished for their crimes... Simply put: Libs encourage irresponsible behavior...
Ya know... we can carry this a step farther: It is not only drug cartel bosses who get off from their crimes... it is bankers, corp bosses, as well as polecats.
The rule of law will not work properly unless there is NO person (no exceptions) who is above the law. Yet libs want to make up the rules as they go... Not a good idea.
Yes, some neo-cons do this also... and they need to change their ways also.
The rule of law has to be a level playing field, where all who break the rules are punished.GA-HVAC-Tech

Conservative/liberal is not just a political persuasion, it's a mind set that dominates a person's life in almost every way. Religion, parenting, relationships and others. Conservative = rigidity, liberal = flexible. Notice some libs are in their actions, conservative and the other way around also so it's often a mix. Both traits can be faulted when held in extreams.
An interesting aspect of parenting is a kid raised lib will often leave home ( like the prodigal son ) but will return in time. A kid raised conservative usually doesn't leave but if they do they don't come back. Go ahead and disagree but it's not my study and I'm just throwing it out there.
A person shouldn't think that the negative aspects of their personal mind set is all bad because there are positive aspects to both sides . It's all about balance. With out balance both sides can go hay wire. I just realized as farming involves less people than ever most might not know what "Hay wire is"Tracers work both ways.
