Thats aboutit. Spray and try a tad ofheat on the housing
Have a bad crankcase heater on a Mcquay chiller , it's an insert type about 7" in length , seems like it is corroded in place even though the heater body on the new one is stainless steel. Just wondering if anybody has any tricks on removal, I sprayed Kroil in the opening and waiting ,just looking for anything else thanks.

Alittle begging too. Please don't Break please don't break please don't break.
I have drilled them out before. Not to hard, just don't get carried away.
reaming bit works
It's probably got hot and bulged.
Drilled it out ,thanks for the help guys.
For future reference, if you look at the opposite side of the compressor, the heater well goes all the way through. You can use a screwdriver or 3/8" socket extension and knock it out with a hammer or hilbilly hammer. (aka crescent wrench)
