Romney and charity.
Many have accused Mitt Romney of not paying enough taxes and not having compassion.
Oddly enough when you add together the taxes he paid and his charitable contributions, you find a different story. He paid 42% of 2011 income in taxes and charity.
He also doesn't brag about everything he's ever done.

I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

Romney has been vying for president for many years now and knew his tax returns would be opened to the public, therefore being sanitized by his experts. His cleaned up returns are no example of why the rich should pay at a lower tax rate than their secretaries.
Those who are attacking his current returns are falling for the diversion…giving the Right fuel to protect their sacred rich.
