Hello everybody. I thought I would join this message board to see what is going on in the HVAC industry.. I am about a semester or two away from entering the HVAC engineering program at my local college USF.
Just saying hi..
Anybody work in the engineering field or even the contracting field intested in talking... just pm me back!

welcome to the jungle.
I didn't realize schools are giving out engineering 'degrees' in HVAC.
Mechanical, sure - but HVAC?
What's next - Plumbing Engineer? Master of Steamfitting???

Well it is a mechanical engineering degree. I guess they are doing some emphasis on HVAC...

I would also be interested in contracting.. I love doing "field" work.. Love working with my hands... But after reading some stories here I am thinking twice about the contracting by what some people said..

There`s all kinds of engineering degrees. My wife is a domestic engineer( housewife). My garbage man has a ba degree in sanitation engineering( picks up my garbage very monday morning)

I thought that too, but there`s also a university san francisco, but i think all they teach there is how to march in a gay parade.
