I'm attempting to study as much as possible for the CM. I have RSES Training Manuals 1 and 2. I need to purchase 3. I feel that if I don't study, I just simply will not pass.
This test has me intimidated. It sounds like a serious test of skills on a very broad scale.

I have a few of the RSES Nate and R/AC study guides. They are well written and much easier to read than my HVAC books for school.

Brent,
I thought the CM was very difficult.
It covers just about everything from science to double suction risers, fin spacing, pneumatics, insulation, motors, pumps, dessicants, PH charts, series parallel circuits, resistors, transistors, thermodynamics, the list goes on!
I am pretty good at fixing air conditioners but not at taking tests!!
I thought it was hard and am proud to have passed it!

Go to SUPCO.com and look for the tech material they have on cap tubes.... Great material and more than you would have ever guessed! Cap tubes are a whole lot "smarter" than flo-raters...
Could use a little help with cap tubes and
