Does FLuke make a multimeter that beeps when you put your leads on a voltage source over 30 volts as does the Fieldpiece meters.
Right now that is one of the only reasons that I use my Fieldpiece HS35 over my Fluke 336

OK then does any other company make a multimeter that beeps when you touch leads to a voltage source...

10-03-2006, 07:23 PM #3Can I ask why do you need the sound?Wouldn`t you look at the screen when you measure voltage anyway.I used to have a hs35.with the small screen it has and the beeping `helping`, you tend to form a bad habit of relying on the sound that doesn`t mean much.I have a fluke 179 now with a large screen that can be easyly read,I kicked myself in the a** not having bought it years ago,when I finally bought it.Originally posted by berg2666
