WOW! you guys aren't kidding about veto products!

I watched the tech LC video and it's pretty impressive!

What I like best about the Veto lineup is they don't give you much room in the bags themselves to collect extra crap!! I am a crap collector, if there is room in my bag for an old 24v relay that still works, then it'll be in there!

I know what I'm gettin for xmas!

Its pretty decent for the money. Got it on sale. I can fit all of my tools minus pipe wrenches in it, but damn it is heavy. Ill take a picture after work tomorrow to show you how it operates but its a really good bag. Its long enough to hold my hack saw full time and the side parts boxes are perfect for holding screws, wirenuts and whatever random part you might frequently need.

to comment on putting crap in your bags, fill it with tools and make sure you put them back in the same spot every time. That way theres no room for junk

I used Veto for a long time, finally got tired of the zipper failing and switched to Husky bags. Same 5 year warranty, but a fraction of the cost. No zipper failure so far either.

I like the way the custom leathercraft looks. I may go with it since I'm up and down ladders all the time. My AWP backpack was decent up roof hatches until the strap broke

How comfortable is it carrying the first CLC you linked to? How much do you carry it using the shoulder strap?

I've been a CLC guy for a few years because of the price, I have one of the big bags and looking to downsize to keep all the extra crap out of my bag like the other guys have stated. Last time I weighed mine it weighed 63# and I do controls

I always go back to my $10 craftsman bag though. Love that thing. Its so much lighter and I can just toss everything in, but it does end up with lots of clutter over time and thats when I usually get pissed off and switch back to the CLC. http://community.craftsman.com/Craft...ws?tab=details.

I like those small veto bags. Which one do you guys like better for service, the TP3 or MB?

I have a lot of different tool bags/boxes including a Veto lc and I seem to always go back to the CLC 1526.I like having everything where I can see it.As far as carrying it by the shoulder strap ;I rarely do.I have a small bag with just the essentials that I carry on up ladders with a shoulder strap.The clc #1528 is bigger if you need more room but the smaller one is just right for me.

I've never used it with the shoulder strap. I always just use the handle. I have no complaints though going up and down a ladder holding it by the handle or walking around using just the handle.

It is very comfortable and i can fit thru cage ladders with it. ive had it for about a month so far and its tough but really heavy. i bought an AWP at lowes and the straps ripped off pretty quick. i have tugged and thrown around the CLC and so far its tough.

it wouldnt surprise me if my bag weighed 50# +

Joey I also have this bag, don't know if it's the 8 or 11 but it's the same design. Very good bag, has almost no signs of wear after 1 year. I did make a sheet metal box that lines the inside of the plastic tray storage compartment, this creates a very solid base that does not sag or lean from the weight of the tools above.

It never ceases to amaze me how guys carry bags weighing 50+ pounds.

My Veto is weighing in at right about 30# with MB attached and has all of the tools/bits/meters that I need to diagnose almost any problem in it.

If I need a specialty tool, I either know from the call or I walk.

After an operation to repair a hernia, I'm not even happy with that. I'd like to push it even lighter, but I'm just not sure that I can.
