    Hi Folks,

I have been reading this forum for a while now and decided to join. I teach HVACR at a Community College in NC (15 years). I worked mostly in commercial refrigeration (12 years) before beginning my teaching career. I love this industry and it has been very good to me. I am glad to see a site like this where people can ask questions and get different viewpoints. The technology in this industry is growing at an exponential rate and this site is a great tool to help keep up.

I was a student here at the same school I now teach in. I feel I have the best of both worlds. I get to work on equipment and help train new members to the industry.

I have an Associates Degree in AHR and hold licenses as an HVAC contractor, Commercial Refrigeration contractor, and a Licensed Electrical contractor. Additionally, I hold several NATE certifications.

There is so much to learn and so little time (smile). Who knows, I might even be able to contribute from time to time. Thanks again for this forum and I look forward to the experience!
