never understood how anyone can get by with just one set,

individual gauge & hose would fit the bill there in a couple of those hook-ups

    Where's your 557 and 570? You don't have an SMAN3 either.

It is a working system and also has SCADA on it, with 4 pressure transducers and multiple temp sensors.

I have just been offered a Mastercool set for a really good price (the idea of a USB connection sounds good for data storage)

Or they read on this site about all the warranty exchanges and decided against them?

I am too tight to be buying separate manifolds for every refrigerant I work with.

I would need about 12 sets of gauges if I had one for each flavor. Lol... I do keep 4 sets on the truck. And some stubby single gauges.

Then, you've got the dilemma of what to do when you walk up to that unit with a NEW refrigerant in it.

"Can't work on it, boss. Don't have gauges for R407Q. Gotta go to the supply house and buy yet another manifold before I can look at it."

Why is it prefferable to have a manifold for every type off refrg. Not that its practical but what happends to a manifold used on many different ones?
