Did you rule out a restriction? Possibly over charging to get it to work again when you thought it was low.

Not a restriction. Definitely a leak. These units will not run overcharged Question is: With corroded copper, can the leak be so spread out that it can't be pinpointed? In other words, weeping out over large or multiple areas? Leak detector picked it up in the condensate tray but once I removed it from the cabinet no leak could be detected.
