    Ran across that once. The inside looks like a chinese paper yoyo. Was the motor bad too?

    No these units just eat those like candy. Motor tests good. They also like munching comp 3. Changing comp 3 and that cap today.

    Something to think about. Things like that, seeing terminal blocks blow out of compressors, and arc flash blowouts are potential hazards to really respect.

    It looks like that lead collector made the capacitor sick, or it drank to much.
