Condensate pump leakage with TAM 7 air handler

I have a Beckett condensate pump that drops of water are intermittently splashing up from the reservior and are collecting around the white PVC pipe and around the top of the unit where pipe enters the pump. I know the TAM 7 is pushing air rather than pulling like most air handlers thus not requiring a trap. Any suggestions on how to rectify this?

I usually cut the end of the pipe at 45* angle and bottom it out in the pump. Thats usually enough
