The Invaision of Bennington

I sent this poem to the editor of the Bennington Banner. They must not have liked it........it never made the front page as planned.

So instead I will torture you all with it.

HVAC-Talk is coming

We are coming to Bennington; the invasion is well planned
We will besiege you, From the Air, the Sea, and the Land
No alarms, or call to arms, nor need for a defensive stand
We come in peace, to increase, beer sales, understand

The warm and gracious welcome, Bennington does provide
Is an act of selfless hospitality, which moves one from inside
A nice surprise, for us cool guys, to be greeted with civic pride
We send thanks, and hope our pranks, will be taken in astride

Frozensolid is 9 feet tall. You'll want to see him standing next to "Kling" or was it "Klang"

They're out of beer in Bennington,and if you wonder why...
just find the time to get online, and ask an HVAC guy

The buildings are still standing, the citizens, still spry,
The college kids are all at study...but what about that HVAC guy?

There was rumor of invasion...Oh! this,we can deny
It was a CONFERENCE, pure and clean
...ask any HVAC guy

They congregated peacefully, the advanced knowledge made them high...
And yet, in little Bennington, the whole town has run dry!
