In order to give you the response you expect, we need two things:

    1) you need to get your post count up to 15 and apply for the free Pro membership, and have it approved.

    2) you need to ask this in Pro Residential, and not in an open forum.

I would say that you could share some knowledge and experiences in the Tech to Tech forums, which are open to new members, and in that way you can show what you are about while not walking a new member through what could be a DIY procedure. In this way, you give the membership committee something to review along with the other info.

Sorry this is not a DYI site. Please consider calling your local Professional Contractor, or follow the site rules.

    OP,

as you can see, it is nearly impossible to tell a DIY post from a post by a new member in the trade, unless the info given in the post suggests otherwise.

Still, the open forums are searched and indexed by the search engines, and we don't want DIY posts indexed and available to the general public.

Homeowners don't know what pressure switches are? I'm no master tech but I know more than most. Just admit you don't know.

I bet a homeowner would know what a pressure switch is, if the switch opens I guess it would kill everything In string, of for some reason the tstat was in the safety string then that could be true lol.

I've been in industry for 10 years. All training I've done was in field or at a distributors. I have mainly worked for a distributor but have 3 years field experience.

Homeowners don't know what a pressure switch is unless you just explained it them & then still...
